I am honored to have the opportunity to share The Well School Community with you. The Well School has been an innovative leader among elementary schools in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire for over 50 years. Since its inception, the school has offered an education focused on the whole child using a curriculum that melds a child’s natural love for the outdoors, the arts, and community participation. We are fortunate to have a beautiful location and natural environment to inspire our pursuit of knowledge and learning. Our campus  provides us with opportunities to learn outdoors, care for our environment, help students develop a sense of place and teach important lessons in leadership, tenacity, and resilience.

The Well School combines and prioritizes the best practices in education. Academics are an exploration for students to discover their sense of self and place. Mindfulness compliments all pursuits by allowing students to quiet and assimilate information. The Well School values having students work and participate in their environment so that they are encouraged to take ownership of their school. This is a community where everyone knows each other by name. Students are surrounded by peers, teachers, and parents that support them and help them reach their goals. We believe it is essential to attend to the social and emotional needs of our students. Lastly, a school that leads with core values of kindness, cooperation, and respect understands the importance of creating an environment for students to be safe to learn and explore. The mission and vision of The Well School encompass the values that I hold closest as an educator.  The Well School is child-centered, community-focused, and relationship based.

I encourage you to explore and discover the many factors that make our school a unique learning community. If you are seeking a unique school that prioritizes children’s engagement, well being and becoming a good human, then go no further.  I am inspired by the activities and the teaching that I witness around the school, please reach out if you are interested in learning more. I look forward to working with each of you as we create the future of The Well School.

All my best,
