I am thrilled and honored to be joining The Well School as the fourth Head of School. The Well School combines and prioritizes components of education that I have focused on throughout my career. We value the arts and the outdoors. Academics are an exploration for students to discover their sense of self and place. Mindfulness compliments all pursuits in allowing students to quiet and assimilate information. I also value having students work and participate in their environment so that they are encouraged to take ownership of their school. This is a community where everyone knows each other by name. Students are surrounded by peers, teachers, and parents that support them and help them reach their goals. Lastly, a school that leads with kindness, cooperation, and respect understands the importance of creating an environment for students to be safe to learn and explore. I am honored and proud to be part of such a community and school.

The mission and vision of The Well School encompass the values that I hold closest as an educator. The Well School is child-centered, community-focused, and relationship based. I am inspired by the activities and the teaching that I witness around school, and I am excited to be part of this enriching community.  I look forward to working with our faculty, staff, and parents as we create the future of The Well School.
